Homemaker Companion Services — Non-Medical Home Care
In-home care services consist of assisting the client with non-medical care (personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, errands, companionship and supervision). We assist our clients with the 6 activities of daily living (ADL’s) which are bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, eating, and walking which determines an individual’s capacity for self-care. The severity of the client’s inability to perform ADL’s determines the level of care to be provided to the client. Services are provided to clients whom wish to stay at home but may need some assistance to remain safe at home. Safety is our number one priority. We accept private pay and Long-Term Care Insurance.

- Difficulty in ambulating
- Frequent falls
- Appear confused/lost
- Forgetful
- Forget to take medications daily
- Forget to eat
- Repetitive questions or repetitive statements throughout the day
- Changes in physical appearance

- Home in disarray
- Appearance of home is unkempt
